WELCOME TO THE HUNT!

Experience the finest pheasant hunting in the world!!!!  We are a family owned guide and resort and have been in business since 2000.  Located in North East South Dakota, Rooster Tail Inc. offers an exceptional hunting experience in areas with some of the highest concentrations of wild pheasants in the state, if not the world.  We provide guided access to thousands of acres of prime hunting grounds that have been managed and developed to offer a premium pheasant hunting experience.

We take pride in knowing that not only are we providing our customers a great place to hunt, we are also helping forge a future of hunting for generations to come.  Rooster Tail Inc. has experienced guides and a vast amount of land available for every size hunting party.  Most of the 15,000 acres we manage will be hunted for the first time of the year by our guests.  Having land owners in numerous areas allows us to save secured land for even the later hunts.

Traditional native pheasants are wild and a definite challenge as the season progresses.  To ensure your success, our seasoned guides assist in the placement of hunters, directing the walks and giving instruction on the behavior patterns and habits of pheasants.

We invite our guests to bring their own dogs.  Waist-high grass, wetlands and sloughs allow the dogs to see their masters and make our hunts productive.

You can browse through to see what services we provide, and also contact us with any questions.

We look forward to seeing you in the great state of South Dakota and we're sure you'll see why customers continue to return year after year.
